Lingfield Drama students go through to ESU Regional finals

A huge well done to Ava, Clemmie, and Sam for reaching the Regional Final of the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition in the Round 2 Heat held at Lingfield College on Friday 24th March. 

As well as the Performing Shakespeare competition, It’s been a frenetic couple weeks in the Drama Department, what with opening an Italian Restaurant, watching the fantastic acts in our Drama Showcase, completing our LAMDA Showcase and exams and performing "The Maids", a fantastic Artaud style piece by Jean Genet.

Not only that, but we've also been rehearsing for our upcoming summer production of Goodnight Mister Tom as well. We've had such fun giving all the students an opportunity to perform and cannot wait for another action-packed term of events this summer.
