Stay & Play Toddler Sessions
Lingfield Little Forest Folk
Outdoor fun for ages 18 months - 4 years. Lingfield Little Forest Folk is a fabulous opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers to join their toddlers and immerse themselves in a natural woodland environment for a morning of outdoor exploration, play, song, storytelling, crafts, practical skills…and mud!
A qualified Forest School practitioner runs the sessions in our very own Forest School facility on our Prep School grounds. They have been thoughtfully designed to provide a fun and safe environment to introduce children to the wonders of nature and the natural world around them.
In each session, the children can enjoy a range of imaginative and engaging nature-based activities, including crafts, storytelling, campfires, den building, bug hunting, rope swings, and some delightfully messy concoctions from our mud kitchen.
Sessions
The sessions run every Friday in term time from 9.30 am - 11.00 am for children aged 18 months (walking) - 4 years with their parents/grandparents/carers and are free. Everyone is welcome.
- Sessions take place in all weather, apart from thunderstorms or high winds. Please dress appropriately for the weather. A change of clothing and shoes is advised as we often get messy, which is all part of the fun!
- If you wish to, you can bring a snack and a drink. Bring a picnic rug too, if you want to sit and relax.
Little Forest Folk is a free event open to the local community. We warmly welcome voluntary donations of £3. All contributions go directly to our school charity.
