Lingfield FairAchiever Status renewed!

We are delighted to share that we have successfully renewed our FairAchiever status! 

A huge well done to the children and staff who have worked hard for 3 years to retain this award.  Activities have included running our Fairtrade snack shop, teaching about Fairtrade in lessons, running Eco Council and Eco Warriors club and singing the Fairtrade song with the children in assemblies.  

We received the following feedback on our application:

"It is really great to see how widely Fairtrade is embedded in your school. It is evident that you actively promote Fairtrade throughout the school, through class learning, assemblies, and great challenges.  We really appreciate that you have worked so hard to raise money for the Fairtrade Foundation, thus helping to make a positive difference to the lives of Fairtrade farmers and their communities."

Our Eco Council are already thinking about recycling in the new term with the introduction of a frog bin in the Prep School for tricky items. Full details will be in the next newsletter!
