Year 6 Crowned National Athletics Champions

Exciting news from the ISA National Athletics Finals in Birmingham this week, as both Year 6 relay teams were crowned National Champions! Congratulations to the two teams.

Boys: Zac, Noah, Ossie and Isaiah 🥇

Girls: Arianna, Izzy, Gen and Maddy 🥇

There were also some other great achievements on the day from Year 5 and 6.

Year 6

Isaiah 2nd place in 80m and 150m 🥈🥈

Izzy C 3rd place in 80m 🥉

Ossie 10th place in the 600m

Rosie was 5^th place in the high jump

Elliot was 5^th place in the long jump and 6^th in the 600m

Year 5

The Year 5 relay team - Ava, Ava-Mai, Inky and Polly came 2nd place in a very exciting race. 🥈

We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part, and these results show the talented athletes we have at Lingfield Prep.

The annual event, now in its 60th year, is the season's highlight for many competitors. Each of the seven ISA regions - North, Midlands, East Anglia, London North, London West, London South and South West have held their own area athletics meetings prior to the event, so all competitors had already achieved a significant feat through their qualification for this event.
